Hotel Almalusa is the name of the now boutique hotel to be built at Praça do Município, Lisbon.

Lucios, in charge for this project, stated that this unit emerges from the conversion of a building and the works be executed until April 2015.

Filipe Azevedo, administrator of Lucios, stated in a press release that the unit in Lisbon and Hotel do Heroísmo, in Porto “make ten hotels in our portfolio in four years only. This is the proof that our know-how and the quality of our works are recognized within the hotel business market.”

As found by Publituris, the company Rebelo de Andrade will be in charge of the architecture project, as this is a hotel with four floors, plus three for apartments. Overall, there will be 28 rooms and three two-bedroom apartments, each with about 100 m2.

Lucios’ works will cost one million euros and will be completed in April 2015.

“The higher floors are for apartments, thereby taking advantage of the building rationality and creating well-defined, well-structured, clear and functional areas, in residential and hotel business terms”, stated Lucios, adding that the apartments “will be designed based on the integration with the unit and may be traded like real estate property and/or for hotel exploitation”.

As to the hotel, “there will be natural light in each room for increased serenity, allowing the combination between history and contemporary times, in a way that comfort, decorative language and functional effectiveness are exemplary but uncompromised, benefiting from the best of each universe.”

On the other hand, public areas “will be the unit entrance, reception area, lounge and breakfast and meal areas, access to higher floors and service areas, under a cosmopolitan concept and atmosphere.”
