We have always been able to capitalize on the experience of more than seven decades of activity and take an evolutionary, innovative stance that makes us believe that it is possible to turn obstacles into opportunities.
Founded in 1943, by Mestre Lúcio Azevedo, Lucios has soon become a reference to the civil construction sector in Portugal. Nowadays, after 75 years of operation, we have preserved the ability to innovate and challenge ourselves in a daily basis by focusing on new business areas.
The history of our company is written by the hands of hundreds of employees that, for more than seven decades, have faced many obstacles and turned them into opportunities, at the service of the company, thereby contributing to the construction and rehabilitation of thousands of buildings, giving them a new life.
In 75 years, Lucios has overcome financial crises, changes in legal requirements and has always challenged itself by keeping the ability to reinvent itself and adapt to market’s needs. And this is how Lucios kept its positioning in the civil construction sector, conquered a reference position in new business areas, like tourism, concessions or real estate development, and went abroad by entering some foreign markets.

To achieve an organized, efficient management of all movements, schedules and people, we have created Lucios Indústria. Since 2013, this area combines carpentry production and concrete production and trade, also managing material storage, equipment and facilities.
